ABOUT THIS SITE
What I Mean by "Efficiency"
This isn't a productivity blog.
I know "efficiency" sounds like it belongs on a LinkedIn post about morning routines and time-blocking. But that's not what this is.
We already have plenty of tools to do more, faster, cheaper. Our calendars are over-optimized. Our notes live in a digital second brain. We have apps to track our habits, our sleep, and the exact number of minutes we spend on a task. The goal is to do more, better, faster, cheaper.
And yet, we're more overwhelmed than ever. More lonely than ever. We've optimized everything except ourselves. The efficiency I care about is internal. How our minds work, how we communicate with each other, and how the products we use every day shape our behavior without us noticing.
Science of Efficiency is about understanding how we work on the inside, so we can stop wasting energy fighting ourselves.
Because the ultimate inefficiency is working against our own brains.
